IM Nikolay Minev, the noted Seattle author, researcher and trainer has recently written a monograph on the games of the one of the great attacking masters in chess history. RUDOLF SPIELMANN: Fifty Great Short Games. The book consists of fifty well-selected games arranged my ECO code with to the point notes, with a diagram placed at the critical stage. Caricatures of several of Spielmann’s opponents, an introduction and a short essay entitled “Spielmann Offers Advice” round out a neatly produced work.
