YOU MOVE … I WIN! by Alex Angos is a unique book dedicated to improving one’s ability at recognizing and playing for zugzwang. Many endgame studies and examples from practical play are coupled with excellent explanations of the underlying themes. Much like his earlier work, ENDGAME ARTILLERY (also published by Thinker’s Press in 1982), YOU MOVE … I WIN! cannot fail to improve your endgame skills and general feel for the game. The former champion of Greece, who represented his homeland in three Olympiads, has a winner that should be useful for players from 1600 on up.
