ARE YOU A MOVIE SNOB, SLOB,
or THINGAMABOB?

By Bill Murphy

The first thing you must know about me on my maiden voyage into this internet humor column is that I am a movie fanatic, a pop culture connoisseur, and an insignificant-trivia addict. Since my very first venture into a darkened, air-conditioned movie theater to see the Disney Buddhist-tinted art film, "Herbie, the Love Bug," I have been hooked. And I'm not talking about hooked in a faddish, "I'm gonna get a tattoo, thong and tongue-ring kinda way."

My life ever since has been devoted to worshipping the art that glorifies the plight of the little guy, the romance of the mismatched, and anything to do with a forty-caliber machine gun. Thus, I love all things celluloid. Others though, probably have more particular, specific tastes when it comes to their movies. That leads me to this quiz, which will help you determine if you are a movie SNOB (Just love the "art"), SLOB (Love the blasts, gore and pratfalls) or THINGAMABOB (You maybe just like paying $4.50 for a Soda?).

Simply choose one answer from each of these 7 questions and it will become abundantly clear just what type of cinefile (or cinephile) you are.
