Val Frost, a member of the Agua Caliente band of Cahuilla Indians from Southern California, has been an ardent fan of Asian Cinema for the past ten years. She earned her BFA in 1992, holds an advanced green belt in Tang Soo Do, has studied language in Japan, and is a devoted practitioner of Zen Buddhism.
