FINDING CHESS JEWELS is just the book for chess players that are looking for challenging training material that will stimulate their imagination. The Russian born Grandmaster who emigrated to Poland in 1992 is a very strong player who was rated in the top 10 in the world in 2000 when his rating was over 2700.

In his third book, Krasenkow presents 220 difficult positions to solve that will tax even very strong players. Those who are familiar with the outstanding book IMAGINATION IN CHESS (Batsford 2004) by Paata Gaprindashvili will be pleased to know this book is even tougher and with more detailed solutions.

Those rated over 2200 (or highly motivated) will find Krasenkow’s book an excellent training tool.
